If you’re not ready for the responsibility of raising and training a kitten but have a place in your heart for a cat, we recommend a senior cat! Cats 7 and older are typically quite easy to care for. They already know how to use the litter box and don’t require as much play time. When you’re ready to play, they’ll usually pop right up and join in, but they are much less likely to run all over the place looking for fun things to get into. Senior cats are great at keeping themselves occupied with grooming, staring out the window or sleeping! They are a great fit for people who have a busy work schedule but still want a fur buddy to snuggle with at night and watch TV with on the weekend!
