Eric Broughton is a sales leader with more than 15 years of experience driving growth and leading teams across healthcare businesses, including startups, mid-sized companies and large organizations. His background spans multiple specialties representing stem cell therapies, specialty pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Over the years, Eric has built and developed high-performing teams, launched new products, and led complex contract negotiations with C-suite executives, large provider groups, and hospital systems. Eric led change management efforts through multiple acquisitions and organizational transitions, helping sales teams stay aligned and engaged through periods of change. He has driven operational improvements, streamlined sales processes, and applied data and analytics to improve decision-making and business outcomes. Eric has been a dedicated volunteer with the SPCA of Texas since 2013. His responsibilities include mentoring new volunteers, working with dogs on behavior training and rehabilitation, and he is trained in “Dogs Playing for Life” playgroup methods and Fear Free Shelter techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety in shelter animals. In 2017, Eric launched a volunteer-led hike program designed to help promote long-stay dogs, improve their quality of life and keep volunteers actively engaged. In addition to fostering behavior dogs that need extra support in a home environment before adoption, he contributes to enrichment programs and fundraising efforts to support the SPCA of Texas mission.
