Group volunteer days at the SPCA of Texas are a meaningful and memorable way for companies, community organizations, and teams to support animals in need.

Group Volunteer Program

Our Group Volunteering Program offers an engaging, hands-on experience that strengthens teamwork while directly benefiting the pets in our care.

During your visit, your group will receive a behind-the-scenes look at our work, assist with a variety of impactful non-animal-handling projects, and enjoy time meeting some of the animals whose lives you’re helping to improve. Group opportunities are designed to be both fun and productive, giving your team a unique way to give back together.

Group Size & Donation Structure
To make these events possible, we ask for a tax-deductible donation:

  • $250 for groups of up to 15 volunteers
  • $500 for groups of 16–30 volunteers
    Maximum group size is 30 participants. All volunteers must be 18 or older.

Booking Information
Please submit your request at least 30 days in advance to allow our team adequate time to prepare your project and schedule staff support.

Non-Profit Group Volunteer Opportunities

The SPCA of Texas proudly partners with local non-profit organizations to create meaningful volunteer experiences that support the pets and people we serve. Our Non-Profit Group Volunteering Program offers a collaborative way for mission-driven teams to give back while learning more about the lifesaving work happening across our campuses.

During your visit, your group will receive a behind-the-scenes look at our operations, assist with impactful non-animal-handling service projects, and enjoy time meeting some of the animals your efforts directly support. These experiences are designed to be educational, hands-on, and deeply rewarding for volunteers of all ages.

Age Requirements & Chaperones
Volunteers must be 15 or older, unless the group is participating as part of a youth-focused non-profit program.

  • Groups with volunteers under age 15 must provide chaperones.
  • We recommend a ratio of 1 adult chaperone for every 5 youth participants to ensure safety, support, and a successful volunteer experience.

Group Size & Frequency

  • We can accommodate up to 20 participants per non-profit group visit.
  • Each organization may book up to two volunteer opportunities per calendar year.

Booking Information
Please submit your request at least 30 days in advance so our team can prepare your project and ensure we have the appropriate staffing and supplies.

There is no fee for verified 501(c)(3) organizations.
