Hello there! I'm Lucy, a sweet senior girl who is a little nervous about my new living environment in the shelter. I came from a real home for several years and this is a bit difficult to get used to. I love sniff walks and know "stay", "down", and "come" commands. I like treats (maybe a bit too much!) and they think I am probably house-trained. I'm having some skin issues though, but the nice vets are helping it get better. I'm really hoping someone will take me into there home so I can heal more quickly with calmer nerves. I promise I won't be any trouble. I just need a cozy place to sleep and a little attention. No interest in shoes, plants, decor, etc. more than anything she is the snuggliest cuddle bug. Personal space? Never heard of her. After the initial excitement she calmed down very well and was very content with cuddling on the couch for a bit. She did pull on the leash for a while, but after 3-4 blocks she backed off and walked by my side. She loves sniffing every patch of grass, shrub, and tree. She excited very easily at the sight of other dogs walking so possibly very dog friendly. She used the bathroom outside immediately the 3 times I took her out so possibly house trained as well. She is very easily startled at any noise, but she never barked at anything so she might be great in an apartment as well. She also has a big interest in treats so very food motivated and likely to train easily.
