Hi! My name is Alfalfa, but my foster mom calls me Alfie. I am the happiest, cutest, fluffiest, happiest puppy you will ever meet (I am REALLY happy, all the time). I love all the snuggles, play time, ball chasing, napping, chew toys, and did I mention snuggling?
You might notice that I only have three legs, but you would never know! One of my legs was injured when I came into the shelter, and it couldn't be fixed but I don't mind because I can run really fast and get up stairs just fine.
I have two foster brothers and a foster sister, and I love to play with them all. My foster sister is extra nice because she teaches me important things like boundaries with grown up dogs and good manners.
I sleep all night in my crate because I am the best boy. I would love some small human companions or dog siblings, but as long as I have someone to hang out with and cuddle, I will be happy!

My name is Mac and I'm figuring out my place here still, but everyone seems to be trying to help me. That's a nice change from my previous life. It's nice to relax and I'm hoping I will be lucky enough to find a forever home that is a perfect fit so we can all live happily ever after!

FOSTER REASON: I arrived with a skin wound that just didn't want to heal, so the doctors explored further and found a bullet fragment in my shoulder joint. It was removed and they are now caring for me to heal completely. I just need some tender love and care so I can get back to my search for a forever home. Can I hang out with you for a while? The nice doctor said I would heal a lot faster in a home than in the shelter. Don't worry, all the supplies and medications are covered by the SPCA while I am in foster! I will just need a few scheduled vet appointments and a dental at the SPCA before I'll be ready to shine!

Theodore enjoyed our nature walk at 12 hills and did excellent on the leash! I was very impressed. He really opened up back at my apartment though, he is house trained and even asked permission before getting on the sofa. He was a major couch potato and loved laying his head on my lap while getting head and ear scratches. This guy adapted so fast, I'm confident he would thrive in any good home! We got a pup cup and he LOVED it! Riding back after we bonded he curled up in the front seat, again showing quick signs of growth right away. He has plenty of energy while outside walking but inside just wants to be your shadow.

They were impressed with how friendly Bailey is. Afterward, we enjoyed a nice, long walk at the park. Bailey took in all the sights and sounds and enjoyed laying in the grass after the walk. She is such a joy to be around - her personality is so bubbly! She makes everyone around her light up.

Hi! I'm Jadey, a 2-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a professional tail-wagger, and someone who will always be excited to see you, I might just be your girl. I love going on walks, sniffing absolutely everything (very important work), and playing with my favorite toys. When playtime is over, I'm more than happy to curl up next to you for some cozy cuddles. I take my snuggle duties very seriously. All I'm missing is a forever home where I can share my love, loyalty, and lots of happy tail wags.

Borrow a Buddy Notes: Jadey was the most calm, perfectly well behaved and affectionate girl for our family! She loved being at Katy Trail Ice House for brunch, and enjoyed lounging in the shade at Glencoe Park while our son had football practice. She did beautifully when we brought her to our home, and was so thrilled to get a good brushing and plenty of belly rubs. The girl LOVES treats and takes them so gently out of your hands! She'll need a little assistance getting into an SUV, but does fantastic once driving. I can't say enough wonderful things about Jadey! You'll fall easily in love with her, that's guaranteed.
