Amanda Rainey, CFRE

Vice President, Development & Community Impact

Amanda Rainey joined the SPCA of Texas in 2021, overseeing the Development department. Amanda and the Development team help build relationships with supporters in the community and throughout the country to achieve the SPCA of Texas’ mission and vision of providing every animal exceptional care and a loving home. Prior to her work with SPCA of Texas, Amanda has contributed to the success of other area nonprofits including the University of Dallas, Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and Big Thought in her prior roles as Vice President.

Amanda has an undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree from Indiana University. She resides in Grand Prairie with her dogs Melvin, Phoebe and PattyCake. When she’s not working with donors and community members, you can find Amanda volunteering at local open intake animal shelters in the large dog area.
