We offer low-cost, high quality spay/neuter and animal wellness for pets of people who otherwise may not be able to afford these services. We're also here to help people in our community through volunteer/therapy animal teams and Pet Grief Counseling.

Free Pet Services

The SPCA of Texas offers free, high-quality, spay/neuter, rabies vaccinations, Distemper/parvo vaccinations (dogs), FVRCP vaccinations (cats), and microchipping services, including surgery transport service, picking up pets in Southern Dallas area at no cost.

Clinic Services

The SPCA of Texas features three spay/neuter and animal wellness clinics, two in Dallas and one in McKinney. Our focus is low-cost spay/neuter surgeries, annual exams, vaccines, heartworm preventive and preventative care for pets whose owners are indigent and/or do not have the resources to provide for their pets' basic veterinary care. The SPCA of Texas is able to provide subsidized savings on our clinic services thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors. This savings allows our clients to care for their pets using low-cost co-pays.

The SPCA of Texas’ Pet Resource Center is designed to support pet owners who are at risk of having to surrender their pets. The Pet Resource Center team works to provide alternatives to surrender and resources that may help owners keep their pets in their homes and out of local streets and shelters.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
