Merle is a sweet, one-year-old neutered boy who has been with us since August 19. He adores people and has shown himself to be a gentle, dainty playmate with other dogs. Despite everything he is going through, he remains a loving, happy kid who simply wants to be close to someone.
Merle has a dislocated hip with osteoarthritis changes and needs to undergo FHO surgery. As we prepare for his procedure, he urgently needs a quiet, comfortable foster home where he can rest before surgery and recover safely afterward. A shelter kennel is no place for a young dog trying to heal, and a peaceful home could make an incredible difference in his comfort and recovery.
If you can give Merle the safe place and care he needs during this difficult time, please email foster@spca.org.
