Cassie Needs You!

Meet Cassie, a sweet, smart, and playful girl who urgently needs a break from the shelter. Cassie is starting to struggle with the stress of her kennel environment, and we are hoping to find her a foster home to give her a break from the shelter life.

Outside of her kennel, Cassie is a wonderful girl. She is calm and incredibly engaging. In our office, loves playing with her toys, and is an extremely fast learner. She already knows several commands and picked them up quickly! She also walks well on leash and is always eager to interact with the people around her.

Unfortunately, we are starting to see the shelter environment take a toll on Cassie. In her kennel, she has begun spinning and becoming more reactive toward other dogs — behaviors that are concerning because they are a change from the sweet, engaged dog we see when she is out of her kennel.

Cassie deserves the chance to decompress in a comfortable home where she can relax, play with her toys, show off her impressive brain, and just be a dog. A foster home could make a huge difference for her right now and give her the opportunity to feel safe and comfortable before the stress of the shelter becomes even more difficult for her.
