Meet Buddy, a 3-year-old sweet boy who came to us from a transfer partner on August 13. Buddy is an eager-to-please guy who tends to keep to himself a little more around other dogs. In playgroup, he has approached other dogs to sniff and say hello before happily breaking away to explore on his own. He has also been introduced to another dog and did well sharing the space.
Unfortunately, shelter life is starting to take a toll on Buddy. His kennel stress has continued to increase, and we’re now seeing more pacing and jumping as he struggles to settle. His medications are being adjusted to help support him, but what Buddy really needs is a break from the shelter.
Buddy needs a foster home where he can decompress, relax, and get some much-needed rest. Even a temporary break from the shelter can make a huge difference for him. If you can give Buddy a place to land, please reach out to the Foster Team. Let’s get this sweet boy the break he desperately needs!
