Meet Bobby, a sweet and playful boy who urgently needs a break from the shelter. Bobby is experiencing a very high level of stress and reactivity in the shelter environment, and we are hoping to find him a foster home within the next couple of days — or sooner if anyone is available!
Bobby is a fun-loving, goofy boy who is always ready for an adventure. He loves to play, explore, and spend time with his people, and we know there is so much more to him than the stress we are seeing in his kennel right now. Unfortunately, the constant activity and stimulation of the shelter are becoming increasingly difficult for him, and his stress and reactivity are continuing to build.
Bobby needs a quiet place where he can get away from the noise, decompress, and finally relax. A foster home would give him the opportunity to take a much-needed break from the shelter and show off the happy, playful, loving dog we know he can be when he isn’t overwhelmed.
Even a short-term foster stay could make a huge difference for Bobby. He doesn’t need someone to expect perfection from him — he needs someone willing to give him some patience, understanding, and a safe place to breathe.
If you can open your home to Bobby, even temporarily, please reach out to Foster@spca.org. This good boy really needs our help right now!
