SUMMARY:Clear the Shelters
DESCRIPTION:Join the SPCA of Texas from August 1- August 31\, during Clear the Shelters and find your new best friend at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center. Returning to help Clear the Shelters are Hill’s Pet Nutrition\, Greater Good Charities\, WeRescue and The Black Dog. \nFrom July 15 through September 15\, you can make a donation to the Clear The Shelters Fund to support participating shelters. Beginning August 1\, you can make a donation specifically to the SPCA of Texas. Greater Good Charities\, NBCUniversal Local\, a division of NBCUniversal\, and Hill’s Pet Nutrition want to thank you for participating in this year’s Clear The Shelters Fund! \nClear The Shelters\, NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption and donation initiative – which has helped more than one million pets find new homes and raised millions of dollars for participating animal shelters and rescues since its 2015 inception – is returning for the 11th consecutive year this Aug. 1 to Aug. 31. NBC and Telemundo stations across the nation are partnering with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise critical funds for participating shelters and rescues. SUMMARY:Mega Adoption Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us in partnership with the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT) and 30+ other North Texas animal shelters coming together to find homes for over 1\,000 pets on Saturday\, August 15th from 10 am.-5 pm.\, and Sunday\, August 16th from 10 am.-4 pm at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall\, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth\, TX 76107! This MEGA Adoption Event features dogs\, cats\, and other small furry pets. All adoption fees will be $25 or less and include spay/neutering\, microchipping\, and age-appropriate vaccinations! Admission is free\, however event parking may vary.​​ Pets cannot be reserved in advance\, so be the first to arrive by getting there early! This event excludes equine and livestock. We strongly encourage you to purchase the Early Bird Fast Pass to be one of the first to adopt as we expect a minimum of 5\,000 attendees. \nEarly Bird Fast Pass \nThe Early Bird Fast Pass will be Saturday\, August 15th\, 9 a.m.–10 a.m.\, and is a $50 fee paid in advance. This Fast Pass will allow you to enter the MEGA Adoption Event prior to doors opening to the public at 10 a.m. so you can browse all available pets\, and be the first to adopt! The Early Bird Fast Pass doesn’t cover the $25 or less adoption fee and is reserved for the first 150 people registered and paid in advance. Please fill out the form below. A confirmation will be emailed to you as proof of payment and will be used as your Early Bird entry on Saturday\, August 15th. A single Fast Pass covers one adoption.
