PLUS FREE ADOPTIONS on September 7th at the Dallas Animal Care Center and Ellis County Animal Care Center PLUS the SPCA of Texas locations will open at 10AM on September 7th. You can also donate to the SPCA of Texas through Clear the Shelters HERE beginning August 1! \nClear The Shelters\, NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption and donation initiative – which has helped more than one million pets find new homes and raised millions of dollars for participating animal shelters and rescues since its 2015 inception – is returning for its milestone 10th annual campaign this Aug. 10 to Sept. 10. As part of the monthlong 10th anniversary Clear The Shelters\, NBC and Telemundo stations across the nation are partnering with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise critical funds for participating shelters and rescues. SUMMARY:Clear the Shelters Mega Adoptions Event
DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT)\, Petco Love\, Bobs from Sketchers\, NBC5 & Telemundo 39\, and 20+ other animal shelters are coming together to find homes for 1\,000 pets on Saturday\, August 17: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday\, August 18: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall\, 3401 W. Lancaster Ave. Fort Worth\, TX 76107. \nThis Clear the Shelters MEGA Adoption Event features dogs\, cats\, and other small furry pets. All adoption fees will be $25 or less and include spay/neutering\, microchipping\, and age-appropriate vaccinations! \nPets cannot be reserved in advance\, so be the first to arrive by getting there early! This event excludes equine and livestock. \n​We strongly encourage you to register before the event to save time when you arrive. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE FREE ADOPTION EVENT. A separate ticket is required if you are wanting to purchase a fast pass to get into the event one hour early. \nAdmission is free\, however Amon Carter event parking is $10. \nThe Early Bird Fast Pass will be Saturday\, August 17th\, 9 a.m.–10 a.m.\, and is a $50 fee paid in advance. This Fast Pass will allow you to enter the MEGA Adoption Event prior to doors opening to the public at 10 a.m. so you can browse all available pets\, and be the first to adopt! The Early Bird Fast Pass doesn’t cover the $25 or less adoption fee and is reserved for the first 150 people registered and paid in advance. Please fill out the form below. A confirmation email will be emailed to you as proof of payment and will be used as your Early Bird entry on Saturday\, August 17th.
