FREE ADOPTIONS August 10th – September 10th at the Dallas Animal Care Center and Ellis County Animal Care Center. PLUS FREE ADOPTIONS on September 7th at the Dallas Animal Care Center and Ellis County Animal Care Center PLUS the SPCA of Texas locations will open at 10AM on September 7th. You can also donate to the SPCA of Texas through Clear the Shelters HERE beginning August 1! \nClear The Shelters\, NBCUniversal Local’s nationwide pet adoption and donation initiative – which has helped more than one million pets find new homes and raised millions of dollars for participating animal shelters and rescues since its 2015 inception – is returning for its milestone 10th annual campaign this Aug. 10 to Sept. 10. As part of the monthlong 10th anniversary Clear The Shelters\, NBC and Telemundo stations across the nation are partnering with animal shelters and rescues in their communities to promote pet adoption and raise critical funds for participating shelters and rescues. DESCRIPTION:All welcome! \nHave you wanted to learn more about fostering\, but are nervous to take the first step? Join us for a fun afternoon on August 10th from 1PM-3PM in the SPCA of Texas’ Large Classroom\, 2400 Lone Star Drive\, Dallas\, TX  where you can meet some pups\, meet other foster parents\, and learn how to help shelter dogs in need by fostering! You can even take a foster home the same day! \nRSVP below to let us know you will be joining us! \n***Please leave your own resident animals at home for this event. Any dog-to-dog introductions can be scheduled at a later date.
